Kings Of Indie |
The Kings of Indie are a highly experienced fully live four-piece band with a huge repertoire of current Indie and Rock plus the odd classic dance floor filler. Band members between them have played everywhere from the Glastonbury Festival to Base-camp Everest, on TV shows including Later with Joolz, Top of the Pops and TFI Friday, and with legends such as Reef, Ronnie Wood, Kula Shaker, Procal Harem and Freak Power.
The Kings of Indie are fronted by keyboard player Jason Knight, best known for his time with UK Rockers 'Reef' which took him on numerous world-tours topped off nicely by headlining Glastonbury festival. Jason is currently the Head of Live Performance at the internationally renowned Brighton Institute of Modern Music, where he also teaches degree students how to run a successful Commercial Covers Band!
The guys are absolutely blitzing the music scene performing at Corporate functions, Military Balls, Polo Balls, Holiday parks, weddings, and clubs all over the U.K. and are always guaranteed to be rebooked.
This band understands how to rock a party from the very first chord. From Student Union Events to Parties-with-attitude, booking the Kings of Indie means you are in safe hands - you can sit back and enjoy an event guaranteed to ROCK!!
Currently the darlings of the University circuit, a recent graduation gig saw the Kings of Indie back stage supping champagne with a rather hung over Zane Lowe who heard the set and proclaimed: "Man, your Killers track rocked". He then played an awesome set although he seemed to repeat a lot of the songs Kings had already covered!
KINGS OF INDIE are truly the rulers of all Indie cover bands.
