R2Ris a duo based in Mid Cheshire, formed in 2009 although a relatively new act; the members have several combined years of experience behind them.

R2R is a duo that caters for any event or function, with solid musicianship, vocal ability and dynamic stage presence.

R2R play music from the 60’s through to the present day, also if required can play solely 60’s music. If requested R2R can provide fill in music between live sets for the whole evening, background music, disco music, plus our own light system.
In all they can provide the full entertainment package.

Over the years R2R have supported well known 60’s legends such as, Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich, Herman’s Hermits, Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders and Mike Sweeny at the Winsford Civic Hall, as well as playing the North West club / pub scene , they have also toured Germany in the summer of 2010 entertaining the British troops and are due back soon.

Personnel consists of:

John - Lead and rhythm guitar/ backing and lead vocals, John has played with many bands  over the years and was on opportunity knocks in the 70s  appearing with peters and lee plus many others.

Iain - Lead and backing vocals, Tambourine / Whip. Iain was recently an  X Factor finalist and has grown into one of the best lead vocalist in the mid Cheshire area. He is also a bit of a cheeky chappy on the disco.

It is the aim of R2R to ensure that everybody has a good time, whether they want to get up on their feet and dance the night away or just sit back and enjoy the music.
