The Paradise Steel Band was formed way back in 1962, and is well known as the North's most experienced Steel Band. If you need to hire a steel band for a wedding or a charity ball or a corporate event, then The Paradise Steel Band plays an intoxicating blend of Calypso, Reggae, and Contemporary music that always incorporates the unique island sounds of the Caribbean "Steel Drum".

Caribbean rhythms native to Trinidad and Jamaica are fused by the band to create beautiful background music for your wedding, private party or corporate event. They create an upbeat fun-filled show with their tropical music that never fails to excite an audience!

The Paradise Steel Band consists mainly of five members, but can be expanded up to nine or ten if needed. They are also able to play as a three-piece band.

The band is made up of mainly male entertainers, with the exception of two female singers if needed or requested.
The instruments that are used in the band's performances are: a wide selection of steel pans - ranging from tenor pans (lead pan), double second, guitar pans, or bass pans - keyboard, bass guitar and drums.

The guys can also bring limbo poles with them to add to the fun, why not have a limbo competition while they play?
The Paradise Steel Band plays traditional Caribbean, traditional English, and vocalist themes, and are able to cater for all needs and play for any occasion.
