Look carefully, and you can see it – four bedroom semi-surburbanite thirty-somethings sporting Ra-Ra skirts, frilly shirts and shiny suits, getting ready to get on down to the sounds from the decade of decadence.

Remember the time when Frankie told us to Relax, Wham! Inhabited the Club Tropicana and every self-indulgent yuppie wanted to rule the world?  Yes…. That was the 80’s.  If Wham!’s “Make It Big” album was the euphoric soundtrack for a pre-crash boom, then Live-aid gave us all a chance to give something back whilst we immersed ourselves in some of the greatest songs ever written. Image was everything, price was no object,opulence was order of the day.

A Kick up the 80’s will take you back to the time that Peter Stringfellow never forgot, from the dawn of the New Romantics, to the eve of the nineties clean-cut sounds of S.A.W.   With a combination of excellent musicianship and their tongues firmly in cheek, this band will remind you just how silly and completely FUN pre-mortgage/kids life could be.
