Spring String Quartet |
Formed in 1995, the String Family has many years of experience in the wedding music field, and has provided music and atmosphere to wedding guests throughout the region. The Spring Quartet, based in Cheadle Hulme, works mainly in the North West of England, but has taken engagements in Cambridge, Birmingham, Harrogate, York, Llandudno, Keswick and Carlisle, not to mention Barbados.
The Spring Quartet offers a range of wedding music packages to couples of all ages, which are designed to provide the ultimate in musical ambiance throughout the wedding day. The new Ultimate Package range uses the groups ultimate flexibility to break into two duos with or without backing tracks, or solo saxophone and string trio so that, when guests gravitate indoors but the intimate family are stuck outside for the photos, they can all still benefit from musical presence enabling clients to relax and enjoy their big day to the full. Another feature of the Ultimate Package is the Spring Quartet playing throughout the Wedding Breakfast with Ponticello, the electric violin duo, playing a couple of featured items between courses.
A major feature of the Spring Quartet's approach is that they book by the session, not by the hour, since weddings never run to time. This is your guarantee that, even if the Ceremony or photos or wedding breakfast are running late, for whatever reason, the Spring Quartet will still be with you, not clocking off at a fixed time, not negotiating extra fees, but dedicated to helping your day be memorable for all the right reasons.
With mum Pam, dad David and daughters Penny and Emily Beth, all former students of the Royal (Manchester) Northern College of Music and all enthusiastic professional musicians, the Spring Quartet creates a unique warm atmosphere, allied to a very high quality of music.
