VERONICA LAINE takes you on a wonderful trip down memory lane, back to Wartime Britain in the 1940’s when the population stuck together through adversity and still managed a smile and a song.
In full costume Veronica recreates the 1940’s at your function, back to the days of waving Union Jack flags and red, white and blue bunting, singing the songs that your Grandparents were singing around the piano, but are still classics today.
Not surprisingly Veronica is a forces sweetheart with today’s Armed Forces, and has proved to be a huge hit a performing at hundreds of Military functions, and Battle Of Britain Ball’s.
Taking you back to the good old days of the mega stars of yesteryear, the likes of Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields, The Andrews Sisters, The Glenn Miller Band, The Beverley Sisters, Connie Francis and the Joe Loss Orchestra, Veronica captures the spirit of the time superbly. Who can forget those amazing classics, Pack Up Your Troubles, Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree, In The Mood, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, We'll meet again, White Cliffs of Dover, It’s a Long Way to Tipperary and many more of the pop hits of the time.
The evening is just great fun; Veronica is far too young to have been there herself, but she is both gorgeous and talented and has a fantastic personality and is guaranteed to make e this night of nostalgia very special.
There is loads and loads of audience participation and singing and fun, for something a little different VERONICA LAINE is the Sweetheart for you.
